Sabbath Afternoon
On Sabbath day some of us may tend to look forward to the sun setting. we want to get back to our "lives". let us not forget what the sabbath is for and that it is a blessing. its time for us to give praise to God as well as rest. Personally I use this time to reflect on my past and my life and the progress i have made with Christ. My message is not to look at what other people do to celebrate the sabbath and just mimic what we see, but to make it your own. Customize this time so that you will find joy and see what its worth. it will help you to appreciate it much more. God bless

I agree. Frankly, we fail to sit and reflect on life and what God has done for us/brought us from. This mode of mental and spiritual development is what helps us determine how we want to proceed with our lives, the steps we take next. It's important to reflect also because our lives have more meaning than just another morning and night passing every 24 hours. Sabbath afternoon is great for this, because, sadly, this is some of the only time during the entire week that we can think of something other than the work and stress associated with life. God bless all.
